Food and social media: a research stream analysis

Abstract Interest in food and online communication is growing fast among marketing business scholars. Nevertheless, this interest has been not exclusive to these areas. Researchers from different disciplines have focused their research on concepts, target populations, approaches, methodologies, theoretical backgrounds, making body of knowledge richer, but at the same time difficult analyze. In order a broader overview topic, study analyzes existent literature regarding social media sciences identify main streams themes explored. With purpose, present paper uses bibliometric methods analyze 1356 journal articles by means factor network analysis. The contributes revealing 4 clusters containing 11 dominant within sciences, determining linkages discourses, recommending new future topics research.
